
The South West Science and Industry Council's next Innovation Forum will take place at Bournemouth University Talbot Campus on June 25th 2009.
The Innovation Forum will begin at 10:00 and finish at 15:30, and a free lunch and refreshments will be provided. Delegates will also be able to take up a VIP place at the Bournemouth University Festival of Design and Innovation at 16:00.

Innovation Forums are free events that promote public sector funding streams for R&D and business support specific to R&D intensive companies.

Bournemouth University Festival of Design and Innovation celebrates the work of talented final year students. This extensive showcase features work in the areas of Product Design, Industrial Design, Design Engineering, Fashion & Textiles, Interior Design, Computer Aided Product Design and Sustainable Graphics & Packaging.
Innovation Forum delegates are invited to a special preview of the Festival at 16:00 on 25th June. The event will be a great opportunity for further networking and also to find out about new talent in the region and opportunities for collaboration.

Innovation Forums are also planned for Bristol in September and Plymouth in Jan 2010. More information will be available closer to the time.
The Council helps to disseminate information about accessing European and UK R&D funding to companies and encourages greater networking at every level. SWSIC events such as Making Science Work in November and regular Innovation Forums draw together those in the region with similar interests and aspirations.
