South West KTP in the running for national award

The University of Plymouth’s collaboration with seating business Zoeftig Nine is in the running for the UK Best Partnership Award at the annual KTP Awards 2010.

Nine regional Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) winners from across the UK will compete for the accolade. The ceremony, which takes place on 10 March at the London Marriott Hotel, recognises the importance of collaboration and the impact it has on enhancing business competitiveness.

Other finalists include Heriot-Watt University’s partnership with nickel, cobalt and titanium recycler Caledonian Aerotech and Swansea University’s link-up with construction company Laing O'Rourke.

The winner will receive a £10,000 prize.
