Grant for Research and Development

What is it?

The Grant for Research and Development (Grant for R&D) is a Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) business support initiative.  It provides grants of £5,000-500,000 for the research and development of technologically innovative products and processes.

Who is it for?

Individuals and small or medium-sized business. For low carbon technology projects, larger businesses are also eligible to apply.
